Panthers score two points in second

Saratoga's varsity boys basketball team took another conference game hit last weekend, suffering a 39-72 loss against the Lusk Tigers.
The Panthers' season record now sits at 8-6 (non-conference) and 0-3 (conference). Although they lost by 33 points, head coach Josh Sandlian said his boys were ahead for much of the first quarter during Saturday's game.

Panthers place sixth at Don Runner Invite

Saratoga High School's wrestling team finished sixth out of 20 teams at the Don Runner Memorial in Pavilion last weekend.
Coach Jared Mason said it was an exciting weekend of competition at Wind River High School, as his boys squared off with most of the 2A teams from the West region.  

SHS graduate named Assistant Coach of the Year

For her efforts as Powell High School's assistant volleyball coach, Saratoga High School graduate Charli Fluty was named the 2013 Assistant Coach of the Year for the Wyoming Coaches Association.

Lady Tigers dehorn Rams 52-28

After an even matchup in the first half, Encampment's Lady Tigers proved their power Monday to eventually crush the Dubois Lady Rams for a second time 52-28.
The first half of the game at Dubois saw back-and-forth scoring from both teams, with neither getting too far ahead or behind the other. The score was tied 11-11 at the end of the first quarter, and 18-16, Dubois' favor, at the end of the second.

Panthers get bit by Rattlers

Saratoga High School's varsity boys' basketball team suffered another home loss Saturday, with a 52-66 bite from Little Snake River's Rattlers.
With Saturday's loss and Friday's 35-59 loss against Burns, the Panthers are now at 8-5 (non-conference) and 0-2 (conference). Saratoga's junior varsity team also lost to the Rattlers Saturday, with 19-47.

SMS Panthers tip off season

The Saratoga Middle School Girls Basketball season is now underway, with winning games played against Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow (HEM) and Little Snake River.
The A Team kicked off the season with a big 45-7 win over HEM. The girls played HEM Friday and Little Snake River last Saturday, in what were their first two game days of the 2014 season.

Tigers keep winning stride

Encampment High School's varsity boys' basketball team is on a roll this season, winning their seventh game of the season with a 61-52 victory over the Dubois Rams.
The Tigers now have a 7-1 non-conference record for 2013-14. Their only season loss came from last month's game against the Saratoga Panthers, who won 80-60.
