Lady Outlaws Keep Fighting

Neither fate nor the calls were kind to the Lady Outlaws on Friday night as they hosted the Torrington Lady Trailblazers (6-5, 3-2) for a tough conference game. Despite this, they remained determined to the buzzer even as the Lady Trailblazers maintained a daunting lead from the start.

The Rawlins Outlaws Indoor Track team raced to Laramie over the weekend where a school record was broken.

On Saturday, Rawlins competed in the 307 Invitational at the University of Wyoming’s War Memorial Field House. The Lady Outlaws earned 17.5 points while the Outlaws earned 26 points.

Baker Takes Top Spot

 

The Rawlins Outlaw grapplers traveled to Riverton to compete in the Ron Thon Memorial Tournament and returned with one back-to-back Ron Thon champion.

The Lady Outlaws brought in 59 team points during the tournament, sitting between Torrington and Lyman and placing 25th out of 39 teams.

Rawlins Burns Trailblazers

 

The Rawlins Outlaws secured another home conference win on Friday as they dealt the Torrington Trailblazers (5-6, 2-3) a double-digit deficit. Then, while on the road Saturday, Rawlins was dealt a narrow loss by the Newcastle Doggies (3-11, 1-3) in overtime.

For Head Coach David Greninger, the overtime loss to the Doggies holds a silver lining for his Rawlins boys.

Encampment Homecoming Cake Auction Raises Record Setting $41,925

Homecoming Cake Auction raised $41,925 with all proceeds going to E-Club benefiting Tiger Athletic Programs.

The Tigers hosted both the Little Snake River Rattlers and Ft. Washakie Eagles over Homecoming weekend, earning one victory and three defeats in the Tiger Den.

This was the first string of home games in the Tiger Den after four straight matchups on the road.

Ace Sets the Pace at Ron Thon

 

The Saratoga Panthers Wrestling Team traveled to Riverton to compete in “The Big One”– Ron Thon.

“Ron Thon is the biggest tournament of the year,” Panther Head Coach Rusty Arnold said, “where school class and division don’t matter. It proves who’s the best of the best in the State.”
