For Many Churches, there is no mystery in the Sacrament of the Altar.  For these churches (Baptist, Methodist, and many non-denominational churches) all that one receives in communion is bread and wine.  All mystery has been stripped away.

Every Christian has been given a mission and some type of ministry. Gifts, talents, and special abilities are distributed from God within the personal blueprint of our calling. Yes, all of God’s people have the responsibility to pray and obey, but like our fingerprints, each mission is unique.

Baked Fish With Crispy Bread Crumbs

I have multiple sources for my recipes. Most of my them are heavily adapted from a variety of sources. I will often take multiple recipes for the same dish and combine the best parts to ‘make it my own.’ Others are handed down from family cookbooks. And sometimes I come across a recipe that is just fine without any alteration. This recipe for baked fish is one of those.

Little Learners

Saratoga's Finest 4-H club met on March 4th, 2025. Once the February minutes were approved our Activity Director, Shelly Larson, made a game where everyone added on to a story. Shelly did an amazing job at planning the activity. 

Three Years of Care

For the third year, Carbon County residents will be able to focus on their healthcare and learn about resources throughout the county and state.

On April 26, the Care Fair returns to the Rawlins Recreation Center. Each year, the event is planned and coordinated by Carbon County Public Health’s Megan Cragun and Memorial Hospital of Carbon County (MHCC) COO Stephanie Hinkle.

307 Pub & Grub Wins Business of the Year

Tears and emotions were flowing as 307 Pub & Grub owners Sally Wells and Adrianne Wagnon accepted the Business of the Year plaque during the Saratoga/Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce Award Dinner in the Platte Valley Community Center last week. 

Chickens or Eggs

From just January to February, the average nationwide retail price for a dozen Grade A eggs has jumped 19.15% from $4.95 to $5.89, according to the U.S. Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The cost is impart due to inflation and the current Bird Flu outbreak which began in February of 2022.
