The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has declared success in completing a rotenone project to remove illegally-stocked yellow perch from Saratoga Lake. According to a press release from the game and fish department, approximately 14,000 pounds of rotenone were applied to Saratoga Lake in mid-September. In October, fisheries biologists held two different sampling events at the lake to see if any fish remained. Medicine Bow Crossing was established in the town of Elk Mountain about four years ago by Bill Jones, Cody Jones and Joyce Menke.
