The Saratoga/Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 11th annual Festival of Trees Gala and Auction at 6 p.m., Dec. 6 at the Platte Valley Community Center Great Hall. Tickets are now on sale and to get the reduced price of $25 per person, they need to be purchased by Nov. 25, executive director Stacy Crimmins said. Decorated trees, wreaths, gift baskets, centerpieces and other holiday decor are donated by individuals organizations and business, Crimmins said. The Saratoga Sun started using a survey on its website to learn the opinions of people on issues affecting the Platte Valley. When the staff tried to retreive the results, it was discovered the results were not available. The staff is working out the kinks and will resume the survey all the problems have been resolved....
