Alice Cornell, 82, long time resident of Saratoga, passed away in Fort Collins on Tuesday Oct. 9, 2018 of natural causes. Alice was born to Carl and Clara in Ethete, Wyo. and raised in Saratoga and Encampment. She was married to Clyde Jenkins from September of 1955 until his death in January of 1977. Together they had 6 children. She was married to Joseph Cornell from October of 1989 until his death in August of 1995, together they blended two adult families. She was very involved in her... Joan Irene (Chubb) Green, 95, of Rawlins passed on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018 after a short illness. Born June 17, 1923 in Axminster, Devon England to parents Samuel and Julia Chubb, Joan married Milfred Green of the United States Army on December 2, 1944. With the ending of World War II Joan, with her small son, departed England on HMS Queen Mary to be reunited with her husband in the United States. Rocky Mountain Power, in partnership with Sinclair Wyoming Refining Company, is proud to announce a combined grant of $20,000 to relocate the historic Como Bluffs Fossil Cabin to downtown Medicine Bow. Each company provided $10,000 for the project. The cabin, built by Thomas Boylan in 1932 as a US 30 roadside attraction, is located five miles east of downtown Medicine Bow and made entirely of fossilized bone.
