The Platte Valley Ministerial Association is hosting a Beans and Rice Banquet on Tuesday, October 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall of St. Ann’s Church. The dinner is a fundraising event for the Saratoga Food Pantry. Admission is by donation. It is sometimes hard for me not to miss the life I had overseas because, often, it was a lot of fun. While the Platte River may be low this time of year, a minor flood occurred in front of the Saratoga Town Hall during the October 5 meeting of the Saratoga Town Council.
