The Carbon County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) lost one of their own over the July 4 weekend. According to a press release from the CCSO, Deputy Jeffrey Walton-a 30 year veteran of the office-passed away on July 3. I agree that the science isn’t settled and offer this rebuttal to the idea that humans are causing major climate change because of industrial activity. Crowd favorite and renowned cowboy poet Chuck Larsen will be honored with a special tribute during the 20th annual Grand Encampment Cowboy Gathering Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 15-17, at Grand View Park in Encampment. Since its inception 20 years ago the Grand Encampment Cowboy Gathering has featured art work by Wyoming artists. The first three years drawings by Gollings of Sheridan were used.
