    Editor’s note: This article first appeared in the Saratoga on July 1, 1976. It is the recount of Jessie (Cunningham) Miller’s trip to Yellowstone Park in 1915. Jessie is the mother of Alice Parrie Swanson.     Saratoga junior Jace Berger and his team roping partner, Matthew Britton, kept their fourth place ranking at state finals, which makes them national qualifiers. The team held third place for much of the week, but then the fourth place team had a faster time and moved up, Berger said. The first day, the team placed first.
