Louise Hope 'Buckendorf' Brooks was born on August 2, 1924 in Buckeye, Colorado to George and Billie (Griffen) Buckendorf. Louise passed March 2, 2020 at her home in Elk Mountain, Wyoming. Hope attended school in Fort Collins, Colorado and Laramie, Wyoming. She participated in the girls league baseball in Fort Collins in 1941. She also did gymnastics and volleyball in Laramie. The US Government has started issuing Economic Impact Payments to help people with the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible taxpayers who filed tax returns for either 2019 or 2018 will automatically receive an economic impact payment of up to $1,200 for individuals or $2,400 for married couples and up to $500 for each qualifying child.
