    The loss of Tyeler Harris had a huge impact on not only Carbon County, but across the country. Harris was killed when he was struck by a semi while responding to a crash on Interstate 80 on December 21, 2022. The Memorial Hospital of Carbon County (MHCC) has started a scholarship program to honor Harris’ memory.     A snowmobile accident in the Sierra Madre Mountains, west of Encampment, occurred in the afternoon of January 19, only one man hurt was hurt.
