On the day after Christmas a strong snowstorm hit northern Carbon County and, besides closing down the roads, the winter weather played havoc with the railroad traffic. While the 37th Annual Ice Fishing Derby is still a week away, another ice-bound event will be taking place this weekend. For the past three years, Mother Mountain Anglers (MMA), an Encampment-based non-profit, has been holding an ice fishing clinic aimed at young anglers.
