'Bear attack' planned

Carbon County Emergency Coordinator John Zeiger would like to inform the public that there will be an emergency exercise near the Turpin Reservoir on Sunday, August 12.

The exercise will be in response to a staged predator attack. In this case the operation will center around a bear attack with a possible fatality, an injury and a missing person. In this scenario the bear will have been shot but undetermined whether alive and still in the area.
