The Elevations Geospatial Summit was held in Saratoga from May 2-4 at the Platte Valley Community Center. Those wishing to learn of advances in the Geographic Information System (GIS) for gathering, managing and analyzing geographic and mapping data attended the 3-day convention. The organizers of the event said they liked that Saratoga is centrally located between Colorado and Wyoming and expressed their pleasure in dealing with the helpful staff at the community center and local lodging establishments.
