Warriors of the Light head to Hanna

The Warriors of the Light Women’s Conference is heading to Hanna, Wyoming.

The annual conference is usually held in Nebraska, but this year Ellen Mortensen, the founder of the conference, decided to come to Wyoming. After talking to Sunshine Solaas of Hanna, she felt inspired to come to Hanna.

The conference will start at 9 a.m. and go until 3 p.m. on April 14, at the Hanna Recreation Center.

Dawn Kenneda, resident of Elk Mountain will lead the worship at 9:30 a.m. There are three scheduled speakers, Tara Holland, Kenneda and Mortensen. The event is broken into where each speaker has a session. After the three sessions, there will be a panel discussion.

At Warriors of the Light Christian Women’s Conference, ladies, along with men, who would like to attend, spend the day hearing speakers and enjoying Christian fellowship. The conference is non-denominational and Solaas said all are welcome.

“We will share real life stories and Bible teaching, so mark April 14, 2018 on your calendar for the conference in Hanna, Wyoming,” Mortensen said on the Warriors of the Light website.

Cost for the one-day conference is $20 and can be paid online or at the door. The cost includes breakfast and lunch. Payment may be made by credit card by submitting your information on the registration page of the website http://www.warriorsofthelightconference.weebly.com

If attendees plan to take part in the conference, but wish to pay at the door, please let Mortensen know by submitting your information on the registration page of the website.
