Miners go to Rawlins

The Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) high school wrestling team went to Rawlins on Saturday in the Rumble in Rawlins dual team tournament.

Lyle Richardson, HEM head wrestling coach, said his team faced highly ranked competition from Colorado and Wyoming.

“We dualed Moffat County from Craig, Colorado, Lyman Eagles, Douglas JV and Torrington,” Richardson said. “And then we faced Sorrocco and West Grand for the placings.”

Jon Nelsen, wrestling at 170 pounds, had some tough matches according to Richardson.
