Thursday book signing features former local

SM/HS grad returns to sign 'Fighting Destiny'

"Friends of the Saratoga Library" enrichment program resumes this Thursday, July 13, at 7 p.m. in the Saratoga Public Library, when Saratoga Middle/High School graduate and author, Sarah Reichert, holds a book signing and discussion of her latest novel "Fighting Destiny".

Sarah, daughter of Bill and Chris Wickstrom of Saratoga, will read excerpts from her recent work and answer questions about the story, characters and writing process. Refreshments will be served and all of Reichert's novels will be available for signing and sale. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Saratoga Friends of the Library.

Sarah, published under the moniker of S.E. Reichert, is a novelist, writer, poet and blogger. She is a member of the Northern Colorado Writers, Wyoming Writers, Inc., and The Romance Writers of America. She is author of "Fixing Destiny," "Finding Destiny," and "Fighting Destiny", a series of paranormal romances set in Maine.

She is currently embroiled in a new trilogy set in her home state of Wyoming. The book follows the trials and joys of three sisters from a small town (maybe Saratoga?) as they navigate the complexities of failure, forgiveness and fortitude.

Her work has been featured in The Fort Collins Coloradoan, Haunted Waters Press, and Tuliptree Publishing's 100-Word Dash. She's also published poetry in the Sunrise Summits Poetry Anthology and has a creative inspiration blog for "The Writing Bug" and the "Be True Be Love", plus "The Beautiful Stuff" website dedicated to the promotion of creativity and the positive outlook of self care, human interaction and living with passion.

The former local resident now lives in Fort Collins, Colo., with her family, including husband Preston Reichert, also a SM/HS graduate and former local resident, and their two children Delaney, 7 and Madelyn, 10. The Reichert family is currently spending several days in Saratoga visiting relatives and have purchased a house here.
