Upgrades in the works

Sagebrush Senior Center

There were six people for Bridge Monday.

There were nine people here for Bingo on Tuesday. Two-dollar winners were Grace Johnston, Carl Kerbs, Nadene Kerbs, Janice Kerpin, and Lila Worden. Nadene Kerbs and Berneil McCord shared a $2 round. Berneil McCord, Janice Kerpin, Gen Haas and Grace Johnston all shared the $5 blackout round.

We have our center pretty much put back together and it is so nice. We are really enjoying the new floor and how it makes our center look.

We are going to be getting a new shed so we can put our extra tables and chairs out there. Then the center will not look so full and we will be able to get in the closet and do a few different things. We are all looking forward to that.

We were so sorry to hear Alberta Welton passed away. All our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time. We delivered meals to Alberta for many years. She was always a ray of sunshine when we stopped at her home. We will all miss her very much.

We want to congratulate Teense Willford on being “Volunteer of the Year” for Saratoga. He definitely deserves it. I have never heard him say no to anyone. And I know he is a big help up here, with his entertaining and all.

We are very happy he found his way up here to be one of us. I guess he actually got old enough to eat up here.

We will be having our advisory council meeting up here today (Wednesday). And it is open to the public if you would like to set in on the meeting come up at 10:30 a.m.
