New floor afoot

Sagebrush Senior Center

Four people played Bridge Monday with Sue Howe as the high winner and second high going to Gertrude Herold. We are still looking for more Bridge players, so if you have a free Monday afternoon, come join us.

Our new floor was installed this weekend and it looks great. We had several people pitch in and help move furniture on Tuesday, so the old floors could be buffed. I could not believe how fast it went.

The new floor is installed in the dining room and it looks great. We still have the kitchen, restrooms and my office to finish.

I had been worrying for the last couple of weeks how we were going to get all the heavy stuff moved, but all I did was mention it to seniors who eat lunch at the senior center and they jumped right on it. They are just wonderful.

We received word on Thursday that Eloise Thomas is out of the hospital and is recovering at home. She would really enjoy calls or letters. So if you would like to give her a call or send a card just call me at 326-5564 and I can give you the information. She really misses everyone down here.

We all want to wish Melcine Craig a speedy recovery. She has been in the hospital for a few days.
