Saratoga takes down Wind River 46-13

The Saratoga Panthers (2-4) football team took advantage of a good match-up against Wind River (2-4) Thursday in Pavillion and came away with a 46-13 victory.

The Panthers' win was built on a solid running game led by senior Thatcher Spiering. Spiering had 258 yards rushing in 23 carries, averaging 11.2 yards per run and gaining six first downs. His efforts on special teams added 18 punt return yards and a 2-point conversion to Spiering's statistics. Junior Morgan Rempel ran the ball 16 times for a total of 68 yards.
