Jesus (Jesse) Vargas passed away on June 8, 2015 at his home in Saratoga. He had battled Polycystic Kidney Disease and related complications for the past several years.
Jesse was born on Jan. 2, 1936 in Puebla, Puebla Mexico. He married Nancy (Anderson) Vargas on June 11, 1977 in Longmont, Colo., They made Saratoga their home for the past 38 years.
He worked for Edward Hines and Louisiana Pacific for 28 years.
Jesse became a citizen of the United States in 1993. He enjoyed watching boxing and old westerns, working on his property, listening to Pedro Infante, and being at home with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, and son, Luke, both of Saratoga. He will be greatly missed by his wife and son, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and all those who knew his kind and gentle ways.
