Spiering, Shipp place first in men's league championship

The Saratoga Men’s League played their championship game Sunday, Aug. 22. The weather was perfect for the day.
Placing first in the champion flight were Luke Spiering, gross, and Robbie Shipp, net.
Second place went to Chuck Cooper, gross, Bob Gates, net. Coming in third was Jared Mason, gross, Dave Peterson, net.
Placing fourth in gross was Josh Sandlain.
In the first flight, Roy Schroeder placed first, gross, with Tim Lamprecht first in net.
Second was Sam Gates, gross, Jeremy Pepin, net.
Dave Rangitsch took third in gross with Mark Gaines taking third in net.
In fourth place was Stave Faccianai, gross.
In the second flight, Creed James and Ron Perue tied for first place in gross while Trent Gaines scored first place in net.
Eric Scott placed second in net, while Dick Perue placed third in gross and Ron Pigg and Jared Crawford placed third in net.
Placing fourth in gross was Phil Buchholz.
Closest to the hole in no. 4 and no. 13 was Jared Mason.
Closest to the hole on no. 8 and no. 17 was Roy Schroeder.
Bob Gates game closest to the middle of the fairway on no. 2 and no. 11, and the longest putt on no. 5 and no. 14 went to Ron Perue. |
