ORDINANCE NO. 779
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING IN PART TOWN OF SARATOGAMUNICIPAL CODE, SECTION 13.40.030
WHEREAS, the Saratoga Municipal Code, Section 13.16.030 pertains to the monthly water rates for all users using water meters in the Town of Saratoga; and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the Town of Saratoga has determined that it is in the best interest of the Town to amend Ordinance No. 774 of said Saratoga Municipal Code;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF SARATOGA, CARBON COUNTY, WYOMING that Saratoga Municipal Code -- Section 13.40.030(A) be amended and shall read after passage and publication as follows:
13.16.030 Monthly rates including commercial and businesses-- Metered.
A. All residents, using water provided by the Town of Saratoga shall be metered and shall pay to the Town for such metered water the following charges based upon the total monthly usage of water:
0 - 7,000 gallons $25.00 per month
7,001 - 20,000 gallons $25.00 per month plus an additional $2.25 per thousand gallons for any water used above 7,000 gallons to 20,000 gallons
20,001 - 60,000 gallons $54.25 per month plus an additional $2.50 per thousand gallons for any water used above 20,000 gallons to 60,000 gallons
60,001 or more gallons $154.25 per month plus an additional $3.00 per thousand gallons for any water used above 60,000 gallons
A minimum monthly fee of $25.00 shall be assessed for all residential properties whether or not water service is actually being provided to that same property, unless said property is vacant land, in which case no minimum monthly fee shall be assessed.
B. All other water users, including, but not limited to all commercial operations and businesses using water provided by the Town of Saratoga shall be metered and shall pay to the Town for such metered water the following charges based upon the total monthly usage of water:
0 - 7,000 gallons $28.00 per month
7,001 - 20,000 gallons $28.00 per month plus an additional $2.25 per thousand gallons for any water used above 7,000 gallons to 20,000 gallons
20,001 - 60,000 gallons $57.25 per month plus an additional $2.50 per thousand gallons for any water used above 20,000 gallons to 60,000 gallons
60,001 – 250,000 gallons $157.25 per month plus an additional $3.00 per thousand gallons for any water used above 60,000 gallons to 250,000 gallons
250,001 or more gallons $727.25 per month plus an additional $5.00 per thousand gallons for any water used above 250,000 gallons.
