    The Wyoming State Fire Marshal’s Office, several news sources, and fire departments across Wyoming have reported a phone scam where someone claiming to be from the Wyoming State Firemen’s Association (W.S.F.A.) is trying to solicit money to help burned children. One report cites the caller as also claiming association with the Wyoming Paramedic Association.     A Saratoga resident who lives close to the river, Bob Thrasher, brought concerns about flood control to the Saratoga Town Council at the Jan. 5 meeting, wondering what plans were in the works for 2016.     Tilford "Bill" Hytrek, 75, of Saratoga passed away Jan.9, 2016 at his residence. He was born Sept. 1, 1940 in Wheatland, Wyo., to parents Frances B. (Blake) and Vincent G. Hytrek. Bill married Dona L. Bowman on Nov. 19, 1962 in Torrington, Wyo., and the two had four children. He started working at a young age and was always willing to work any job, just as long as he was employed.     Breast cancer patients have the option of keeping their hair during chemotherapy, or at least some of it. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced in a press release on Dec. 8, 2015 that they have approved the first “cold cap” for marketing in the United States. Kelly Ralston, of Encampment, used these cold caps before FDA approval for chemotherapy in 2014. While she still lost some hair, Ralston was able to keep half of her hair by using the cooling cap.
