    Ellie Schwerdt had 10 inches of hair cut March 24 to donate it to Wigs for Kids in memory of Kirsten Campbell. Ellie is only 4 years old. Her older sister Audrey had her hair cut to donate it to Wigs for Kids in the memory of Delaney Wadsworth two years ago. Kirsten passed away in 2014 and Delaney passed away in 2011.     We were surprised to discover the District Ranger for the U.S. Forest Services does not plan to have a public meeting to discuss the road closures and decommissionings in the Medicine Bow Routt National Forest. In the March 25 edition of the Saratoga Sun, we ran an article about the local forest service planning to decommission 97 miles of road. The deadline to comment on the road closures is April 16, which is about one-and-one-half months before most of the roads in question are accessible because of snowpack.     As the sun rises over the Cow Creek, Jim Miller has already checked on the calves, made a few phone calls and is putting hay in the feeder for the heifers. Jim and his wife Shirley run a 300-head cow/calf operation. The steer calves are shipped to Kansas in the fall where they are eventually marketed to Japan.     Fugitive recovery agents, more popularly known as "bounty-hunters" were in Saratoga two weeks ago looking for what they call a "skip" at the Saratoga Forest Management (Saratoga Mill).     The Saratoga High School Track team did not have any placers at their first meet in Casper Friday. Coach Rex Hohnholt said he was missing two-thirds of his team because of spring break – some of the students had left Thursday for the European trip. “Some bright things happened for us and we have a lot of things to look forward to,” Hohnholt said.     The Encampment Tigers track and field team headed to Big Piney where they competed in the Pete Olsen Memorial on Friday. The Boy’s team placed 12th overall with 9 points.
