The valley saw a lot of visitors this past week for various events along with the normal tourism for this time of year.

Even with the extra traffic in the area Chief Morris said that the ticketing and violations did not see an increase and was fairly mellow, considering. The Hobo Hot Pool saw a large increase in visitors during the week with most diligently following the guidelines.

Morris said that the funds for the new SPD vehicles had been appropriated and was waiting for approval. The plan is to obtain up to two used vehicles to be converted to patrol vehicles.
