Tuesday music returns

There were eight people here for bingo Tuesday. $2 winners were Sue Howe, Winnie Allen and Berneil McCord. Betty Dean won the $4 blackout round.

There were two tables for duplicate bridge Monday. High winners were Vivien Campbell and Mariel O’Grady. Second high went to Gertrude Herold and Mary Sjoden.

We made the papers for the tax refund for the Elderly and Disabled. So you can come up and get the forms or come in and I will help you fill them out.

Several of J.R. Henslee’s children and spouses were here and had lunch with us. They were here to enjoy the music on Tuesday as well. They were his son Jeff and wife Marlene Henslee, and his daughter Sue and Lament Farthing. It was so nice to meet them. They said they are going to make it a yearly thing coming here. We all hope so.

There should be music again this coming Tuesday at 6:30, so please come and listen. They have a great time playing together.

We will be closed this Friday July 3rd for the Fourth of July holiday. All of us here at the center want to wish everyone a Happy Fourth of July. See you at the center on July 6th for lunch.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Anna Pilet Stubbs who passed away last week. She came a few years ago and she knew everyone up here and everyone had fun visiting with her. She will be missed by the whole Valley.
