Chamber still has room in leadership course

Space is still available for the Polarity Thinking Workshop, according to Saratoga/Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Stacy Crimmins. The class is from 2-5 p.m., Thursday at the Platte Valley Community Center.

Guest speaker Jake Jacobs, president of Global Consulting Services, will teach people how to raise awareness of their leadership strengths and how to build upon them; recognize what is missing; gain clarity about what makes them successful; improve leadership performance; create synergy over time though greater balance and learn how to apply learning to issues in work groups and organizations.

Jacobs is a pioneer in the field of large group interventions, according to a press release from the chamber of commerce. He has used his discoveries to promote better ways for people and organizations to change.

Jacobs has worked with some of the largest corporations in the world, including American Express, Corning, Ford, The Home Depot, Marriott and Mobil.

The chamber has partnered with the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce to bring Jacobs to Saratoga.

Registration is $50 per person. Members of the public are invited to attend. To register for the workshop, call the chamber at 307-326-8855 or on their website http://www.saratogachamber.info.
