Panthers take third at West Grand Invitational

After hosting a quadrangular on Thursday night, the Saratoga High School wrestlers traveled to Kremmling, Colo., for the West Grand Invitational.

The Panthers took third place out of 14 teams, with two individuals placing first.

Thatcher Spiering placed first in the 145 pound, with Thomas Ingraham taking second and Kyle Bartlett taking fourth place.

At 132 pounds, Bradley Bifano placed first.

In the 138 pound match, Chaze Wiant took second place.

Jaxon King took third place in the 113 pound match and Dana Mowry took fourth place in the 126 pound division.

Wyatt Carricato and Marshal Hill competed in their weight classes, but did not place.

Assistant coach Sterling Arnold said the team wrestled well in Kremmling.

Because of the winter break, the results from the Saratoga meet were not available.

The Panthers are on break, but will be traveling to Douglas, Jan. 9-10 for the Shane Shatto Invite.
