Ugly sweater party planned

There were not enough here to play bingo this week.

There were only four here to play bridge this week. So they played party bridge.

Sue Morawski, from the nursing home, came over on Wednesday to take blood pressures for the seniors. The seniors enjoy this service and we all enjoy Sue. So thank you for coming over.

The seniors have the tree all decorated and we are looking very festive. Now we just wait for Santa.

Pat Faust has been moved to Casper rehab center from Denver. They say she enjoys company and knows people when they stop in.

She will be there for a while. We all wish her a speedy recovery. And hope she is home soon.

Also Bob Johnston has had another stay in the hospital. He is home again and doing a bit better. We all miss him up here so we hope he gets well soon. And Grace is feeling better as well, so she is backup here and back to doing here normal stuff.

I can’t say it enough how much I appreciate the volunteers up here. They are what keeps us running like a well oiled machine. They never have to be asked to do something they are way ahead of me when it comes to taking care of everyone up here. Thank you all for all you do each and every day.

We will be closed on Dec 25 and 26. If you need an extra meal please let us know before the Wednesday before so we can get them sent out with your Wednesday meal. You still have several to think about it.

But we will be open on New Years day as usual.

We are going to have a ugly Sweater contest on Dec. 18. So be planning your attire. There will be a prize.

Our birthday dinner will be on Dec. 19, so please mark your calendar so you can come and join us. It will be a great time.
