Jam sessions coming soon

There were two tables here for Bridge Monday. First place went to Mary Sjoden & Sheila Johnson. Second place went to Vivien Campbell & Sue Howe.

Sue from the nursing home is coming over once a month to do the blood pressure checks for us. The seniors really do appreciate her coming over to do the blood pressures checks.

We are having the Jam sessions again for the summer. The next one will be on June 3rd. Please make plans to come up at 6:00 and enjoy the music. The players have so much fun playing, and the audience always has just as much fun listening to them.

It was nice to have Sue Bartlett up on Friday. She brought her parents Howard and Joan Kunish and their daughter Karen. It was great to see them again.

We were all happy to have Ralph Bensen back with us. He has been down in Colorado taking care of his wife. She has had some medical issues and he has been there with her. She will be having surgery on Tuesday and we all want to send our best wishes to the whole family.

Your time is running out to send in the property tax relief papers. You have until June 2nd to fill them out and get them sent in. If you did not receive your form in the mail please come up and get one. You can get a partial refund on your taxes if you qualify.

I now have the forms for the elderly and disabled tax returns. So stop by and get one, or call and I will help you fill them out and get them sent back.

You have until Aug. 31 to get the forms in. Qualifications are you have to be at least 65, and if you are single you can make up to $17,000 per year. Married couples can make up to $28,500.

We want to wish Merle Starr a speedy recovery. She has been in the hospital and is now at the nursing home getting therapy. Also, we heard Carolyn Vyvey is in the hospital in Cheyenne. We wish her well and hope she has a speedy recovery as well.

We all hope you had a nice Holiday, and let’s all have a safe and fun summer. Come and join us for lunch.
