Sweater contest a success

There were two tables here for Bridge on Monday Dec. 23. High winners were Mary Alice Sjoden and Sheila Johnson. There was a tie for second high between Lee Groshart and Bob Johnson and Glee Johnson and Kristi Groshart.

There were six people here for Bridge on Dec 30. High winner went to Lee Groshart. Second high went to Barbara Wise.

We had a pretty or ugly sweater contest here on Monday. Betty Dean won three tickets for the prettiest sweater and Dawna Erickson won three tickets for the ugliest sweater. Everyone enjoyed it and almost everyone participated.

We want to thank The Rawlins National Bank for donating the popcorn for our trip around town to see the Christmas lights on Dec. 16. Jane takes the bus and takes whoever wants to go out to see the decorations around town. I think she had nine people this year to go out for a hour or so. Thank you Jane.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Bill Bartlett who passed away last Saturday evening. We will all miss him very much.

We are very glad to have Jim Elliott back with us. He had been under the weather and had family here for the last week.

Also, it is good to have Diana Bauer from Encampment here with us.

We want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year.
