Local libraries announce bingo and card signups

Bookworms or other regular library attendees can find special features this month at Carbon County Libraries.

Game lovers looking for a unique way to play an old favorite can participate in “Pirate Bingo,” which takes place Sept. 16-21 at all Carbon County Library locations. The competition is for adults 18 and older, and can be found at each county library location during regular business hours.

September is also Library Card Signup Month. People can come to any Carbon County Library during regular business hours to sign up for a new library card, trade in an old battered card or trade in a plain older card for a fancier new card featuring an image of Lake Marie.
