There were two tables for Duplicate Bridge. High winners were Bob Johnson and Mariel O’Grady.

We are always happy to deliver you a meal if you are under the weather or have just been in the hospital. Please give us a call at 326-5564 and we will do our best to help you out. If you are 60, or the spouse of someone who is 60, you are eligible to join us for lunch for the low donation of just $3 a meal. We feel that is a great deal, for a meal this size. So give us a call and come join us. Tickets make a great gift for that hard-to-buy -for person.

There is a new scam going around. People are getting a call from a company offering a free medical alert system. If it is not someone you have heard of, please do not give out any personal information. Contact the police or me at the center, and I will report it for you. Do not give out personal information to anyone unless you know who you are talking to. Medicare will never call you for information, so just hang up on these people and report it to the authorities.

We do have the property tax refund papers. So if you did not get them in the mail, you can come in and pick them up. They need to be in by June 3, 2013.

We will be having a flea market up here May 18. We will be selling coffee and cinnamon rolls as well. Hope to see you here. Be sure and check out our ad in this week’s paper, mark your calendar and come join us.

We had our first fire drill of the year. We are getting faster at clearing the building and listening for our name to be called to ensure we are out of the building.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Tom Craig. Tom passed away Friday. He will be missed by all who knew him. Tom lived in Arizona for the past few winters, and then came back for a while in the summer.
