    Doug Radunich|Feb 19, 2014

The Encampment Tigers mauled the Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow Miners Friday night at their home court with a score of 60-46. The Tigers and Miners kept pace with each other through most of the first quarter, before the Tigers started to outscore the Miners. It was a good game for Guy Erickson, who hit most of his 3-pointers, and Luke Pantle led on the inside scoring and made some 3-pointers of his own. Early in the second quarter the Tigers had a 9-point lead and kept the lead through the...

The Encampment Lady Tigers' last home game of the season was quite an emotional roller coaster, after fans watched them take a 38-42 double overtime hit from Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow's Lady Miners. The game really got kicking in the second half, when the Lady Tigers held a lead against the Lady Miners through the third quarter, thanks to outside shots from Jennifer Morgan and Konnar Knotwell. However, the Lady Miners continued to box out the Lady Tigers, forcing them to take more outside...

  • Lady Panthers charged by Broncs

    Doug Radunich|Feb 19, 2014

A game that remained a tied game through much of the first quarter turned ugly for the Lady Panthers Saturday afternoon against the Burns' Lady Broncs. Haley Soles seemed to take a lot of the aggression, with a slap in the face during a block and tripping through the Broncs defense whenever she had the ball. The Lady Panthers fought for the ball and despite the...

New museum director connects with the past

    Mike Dunn|Feb 19, 2014

Then, she moved on to the basement, depicting where the family would sit in a Victorian living room. In the attic of the museum, Parker found an artifact that really caught her attention. It was a quilt - with the signatures of several names she recognized...
